PROJECTED RELEASE SCHEDULE

My aim is to write and release one novel every year.

It usually takes me two years to get from that first blank page to a published book, however I also typically work on two or more projects simultaneously.

Below is my current release schedule, beginning with Joie de Vivre in October 2025.

This plan is highly likely to change as circumstances evolve.

Additional information for context:

  • Although Joie de Vivre is my debut published novel, it's actually the fifth novel that I've written since 2021.
  • I'm trying to get my fourth novel, Then Came the Night of the First Missile, traditionally published (i.e. published with a large, established publisher). This process has been so slow that it makes snails look like Formula One drivers.
  • My first three novels will need to be rewritten from scratch before they can ever see the light of day. I may or may not rescue them from the trunk one day, but probably not for a few years. I'm saving them for when I have a lull between projects.
  • I have my next two novels almost fully planned out, which means I know exactly what I'll be writing this year and next year.

CURRENT PROJECTED RELEASE SCHEDULE

Last updated: July 2025

31/10/2025

Joie de Vivre

Assuming there are no major hiccups or disasters, this is on track for release on Halloween 2025

Late 2026 or early 2027

Then Came the Night of the First Missile

This depends on a lot of external factors, but I'm determined to have this book out within the next two years. (I wrote the first draft back in 2022!)

Late 2027

New release

This is the book I'm currently writing. I won't say too much about it at this stage, as I tend to keep projects top secret while I write the first draft.

2028

Another book

This will be written in 2026 in released in 2028. Yes, I know what it is. No, I'm not going to tell you.
