The time has finally come to reveal the cover for my upcoming novel, Joie de Vivre.
With only a little bit of further ado, here it is:

So, if you see a book in a bookstore or library or lying on the side of the road covered in dog faeces, and the cover looks like that, then that means the innards were written by me. (Unless, for some reason, someone has decided to swap the cover with another book).
The cover was done by my friend Richie Jehan, who is a very talented artist, although he has since decided that he hates doing graphic design work and folded his business. I'm lucky enough to have been his last customer.
The cover is a little unusual, in that we haven't followed typical book cover conventions--the art is much more prominent than the text.
But then, Joie de Vivre isn't a very typical or conventional book, so why the hell should the book cover be?
Anyway, thanks for reading, thanks for being here and have a great day and/or night.
